Iam glad to share you that I am also dental student with general category from a private dental college.I also had all these doubt while taking admission.

Now,I am applicable to answer all these queries.

So let's start with class 12th,

For Class 12th,you have passed your class 12th with PCM(physics, chemistry, biology) or PCMB.

Your aggregate marks for physics, chemistry and biology should be 50% for general category.no other requirements needed.

Secondly,DY patil dental college is private dental college so you don't think so much,you have just passed neet cut-off (720-138),It means that If your neet score is more than 138 then you can get councelling for any private dental college and you will get the college easily.

But, Taking admission in government colleges are not so easy,you must have atleast 550+marks.

Even after this,If there is any doubt then you can ask with out any hesitation.best of luck

So with regard to your query, the hostel fee for D Y Patil College of Engineering, Akurdhi is INR 60k for the purpose of Girls and INR 55k for the purpose of boys hostels. The fee depends basing upon the accommodation one chooses in the university.

The fees for the BDS course is different for different categories. The fee structure for the DY Patil Dental school for OBC category candidates is as following-

• Tution Fee - 1,77,273

• Development Fee - 35,454

Apart from this fee you will also have to pay the following University fee -

• Eligibility Fee - 2,600

• Ashwamedh fee - 375

• Library & Laboratory Deposit - 25,000

The Library & Laboratory Deposit refundable on completion of the course.

So the total fees for the BDS course is around 2,40,702.

As per the previous year cutoffs trend, at this score there is very less probability of getting admission in government dental colleges in any state in general category. However you can get admission in private dental colleges under management quota.

Also remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff. Some private dental colleges in which you can get admission through management quota are as follows:

For seeking admission under management quota , candidates need to apply under the category of management quota with regards to the respect authority. For Deemed Universities management quota counselling is conducted by Medical Counselling Authority.

Regarding the private medical colleges in respective states , candidates have to apply under the respective state conducting authority.

Charoli,

Established in the year of 2011 with 3 acres campus and having 45 faculties. BDS course costs, 11.62 lakhs here.

Pimpri Chinchwad,

Established in the year of 2000 with 5 acres campus and having 85 faculties. BDS course costs, 22 lakhs here.
