Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) is a 5.5-year academic program containing 4 and 1/2-year educational sessions and a one-year internship program degree offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and approved by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Attained the age of 17 years on or 31st December of the year of his admission to the first year of the course.

2. Passed the 12thStandard Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other subject instead of Mathematic as his/her subject at the 11th and 12th standard or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto such subjects and with such standard of attainment as may be prescribed.

3. The candidate may be an Indian National.

4. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her Nationality from the District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate, or Metropolitan Magistrate.

5. The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness as per the proforma. Blind (including color blind) dear and /or dumb candidates shall not be allowed for admission in the course.

6. A candidate will be admitted on the basis of merit in the NEET Entrance Test with 50th Percentile marks for this course.

7. The candidate shall be admitted only on payment of full fees.

8. The candidate has to pay fees for the entire course, if he/she may cancel his/her admission after confirmation of his/her admission or mid-term of his/her entire course.

9. Fees once paid are not refundable under circumstances.

10. The selected candidate must join the college on or before the date prescribed by the College Authority, Failing which admission stands canceled.
