Darrang college is an excellent college under Guwahati University with great facilities and labs. The campus is very clean and has a good library and it is the top best college for students choosing for Commerce background in their UG

The study system here is very good. The teachers are very friendly and they help us a lot. The education curriculum is also one of the best because i had a great experience in this college, they prepare us well for the placements.

The Placement scenario here is also good and many students here find great jobs in the final semester as it is under guwahati university and the average package here is also good compared to other colleges in assam.

The fee is very minimal and affordable, it is worth for the quality of education they provide

The campus life is very lovely with great facilities, there are many facilities for students.

The infrastructure is good enough and the classes are good with proper installation of digital smartboss and Wi-Fi and also we have laboratories for the science student and and library for everyone and that's living spaces very clean

The course you are very less it was around 30000 for the whole course and it is worth to study there

Darrang College, known as the Nalanda of the North Banks is situated in the heart of Tezpur, which provides a wide range of courses from different streams. The college is well placed near Mahabhairabh temple, one of the greatest tourist attractions in Tezpur, with a line of food cafes and business hubs around. College provides clean classrooms and labs, which are regularly maintained and looked after. The hostels are also good enough to accomodate students smoothly.

Good enough academics offered as faculties are well aware of their domain specific knowledge and provide help to the students in the best way possible. It offers majors in various subjects depending upon our interests. It is affiliated to Guwahati University.

Average placements but due to good brand name and affiliation to Guwahati university, the placement statistics have improved positively in the past few years with an upsurge of 1-2 lakhs in most of the departments.

Absolutely worth the money as it is a government institution with very minimal fee structure but outstanding exposure and connection.

Studied B.Com because I had interest in accountancy and business aspects that’s why i had to enrolled that course at the Darrang college tezpur . Their curriculum is updated and they follow guahati university.

In this Darrang college there was not such placement facilities in this campus.so don’t aspect placement from this college so you have to go out campus recruitment. With your skills and knowledge you can achieve.

Yes, my college had all the necessary facilities. We have a common library for all the streams. Darrang College also provides a department (Philosophy) library for all the major students. The college is full of greenery.

I have studied philosophy major because of my keem interest in opinion giving and thinking something logically and deeply. Yes, for sports it provides all the facilities and a huge field for all the outdoor games and a Auditorium hall for indoor games. Yes, of i pursue my masters than I can become a good teacher of philosophy , or opt for PhD.

I cannot talk about placements coz I never wanted to have job after graduation, I want to study more and get masters, after that think about placements. Less to my knowledge I can say that their is career counseling cell which visit every year for providing guide. So, if anyone interested can discuss it with their mentors.

The best part of govt. College is fee structure. I can I have graduated from in college with minimum 10,000 rs total including books. It provides free admission for BPL families and scholarship too for each caste , minorities, meritorious student.

Sorry but their is no worst feature of DARRANG COLLEGE campus. Activities like cricket, football, volleyball, carrom, fashion show, body show, dance singing,etc available to engage in. Teacher are friendly with the students and are provided with a mentor for all the doubt clearing. It's completely safe and can handle emergencies, for which you can talk to union body. They always help.

It is a full package for any student who wants to upgrade their self in all aspects of life from this college. Academically, culturally, politically and in extracurricular activities.

The college infrastructure is quite good. The administration of the institution provides the students with the most it can. Well-maintained auditorium, beautiful three-storey library and hygiene-maintained canteen. Apart from that, there's also an indoor stadium for the students who are athletes and sports' lovers.

Our curriculum of BSc Biotechnology is very updated, and our teachers are very kind and helpful. The syllabus comprises of all the recent developments of the respective field, helping us to know the depth of the field. The teaching quality and process is quite simple and straight.

No placements are done from the college. The students have to go by themselves for jobs, as there are no on-campus placements by the college authorities. Hence, this poses a great problem for the students.

My course has cost me Rs. 20,000 per semester. I feel the course is worth the money because there are many laboratory related works that my course has, which sums up quite an amount. Moreover, the teaching process and quality also makes the money woth.

The fraternity members are very kind and helpful, and have a guiding quality, which helps in shaping the student's future. The students are quite hardworking and enthusiastic. The college campus is situated in the heart of the town, making it easier for the transportation of the students.

Our college have all necessary infrastructure including smart classrooms, laboratories, digital library, sports center and hostel with WiFi in the entire college though we have some problems but the overall facilities are good .The living space for hostel are is good hygienic condition and sorrounded by greenery.

I m studying B.SC in Zoology because i have an interest in bioscience from the beginning. Our teaching faculty is good but they are not that updated they don't provide us extra knowledge rather than the course only there is less interection between teacher and student .

There is no placement in our college as there are no professional courses but our college has started pra medical courses from last two years and it is in great progress but i can't say about the placement system as i m not involved with that course.

10,000 per years including exam fee and all yes we are getting our money's worth Because our college is developing in all terms from last 2 years all facilities are becoming better .

Our campus is place in a beautiful surrounding and in a eco friendly environment we have many extra activities in which we can participate all the teachers students are very cooperative and supportive . There is positive energy all around .

It's a good college to study i think every college have some promblem but u can get a good experience in Darrang college according to me .
