The department is an institution for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Central University of Kashmir, Srinagar, where only a strict and merit-based selection process has been adopted for students in law studies. Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Central University of Kashmir admission to the two-year postgraduate LLM programme is done through CUET PG. This programme is offered to the law graduates with a desire to specialise in some fields of law or for the sake of pursuing academic careers.
