The Department is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and provides a host of law programmes for the purpose of grooming the next generation of legal professionals. The Department of Law, University of Kashmir provides five full-time courses for meeting the various requirements of legal education. LLM is the Master of Laws, a postgraduate course in law that requires two years, with an intake of 25 seats approved for the course.
