Dev Kanya Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Jahazpur, is an institute of women's education in the field of teacher training. The institution is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the college implements an entrance examination procedure whereby admission to the college is based on guidelines stipulated by the state government, UT administration, and affiliated university.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: Dev Kanya Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya has been accredited with 100 intake for its B.Ed. program. Merit in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination are considered for two-year admission for this program. The B.Ed. course will be available for candidates who complete their graduation with relevant discipline.

B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated: The numbers of seats are 100 in the four-year integrated programme. Merit based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 with Science subjects) and /or performance in entrance examination. It is for candidates who want to enter teaching at the secondary level for science subjects.

BA B.Ed. Integrated: Like the B.Sc. B.Ed. course, this BA B.Ed. Integrated course also has a total of 100 seats. Admission is done based on merit as determined by either the qualifying examination result (10+2 with Arts subjects) and/or entrance examination result. The program is made for teaching humanities and social science subjects at the secondary level.
