General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year and six months full-time diploma program offered by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai, and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum age of admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. 
  • The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (+2) with Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with an aggregate of 40% of marks. 
  • The candidate shall be medically fit.
