Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed course is being provided by Dhivya College of Education, which is a full-time two-year degree course with an approved student strength of 200. The admission to the B.Ed course is based on merit in the entrance examination and/or qualifying examination. The minimum qualification requirement commonly includes a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. The students are chosen on the basis of their academic performance and marks in any state-level or university-level entrance examination for B.Ed courses, as applicable.
M.Ed (Master of Education):
The college provides a two-year postgraduate course in M.Ed of sanctioned strength of 50 students. Admission to the M.Ed course is likewise under the same merit system as the B.Ed course. However, the eligibility is more precise. Applicants are required to hold a B.Ed degree or its equivalent from a recognized organization with the minimum of marks percentage as laid down by the affiliating university or the state education board. Admission will be done based on marks in the qualifying exam (B.Ed) and/or individual entrance test for M.Ed courses, as decided by the policy of state government or the affiliated university.
