Dimapur Govt. College is one of the oldest tertiary institutions in Nagaland. Admission for undergraduate programs at DGC is merit based. Established as a member institution of the NAAC- National Assessment and Accreditation Council, DGC offers various arts and commerce courses. Admission into undergraduate programs in the college is based on the scores from CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate), thus observing the norms set nationally for the admission of undergraduate programs. Eligibility criteria for admission include qualifying in 10+2 from a recognized board. Specific subject requirements may also be included, depending on the chosen course. An almost similar fee structure that applies to the general BA program is the BA Honours, about Rs 16,000. Admission is purely merit based.
B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): This course offers a total of 90 seats to students and is charged a total fee of Rs 29,400, approximately. The selection process is merit-based.
B.Com Hons: This program has a seating capacity of 70 students. The admission procedure is merit-based, just like the other programs offered by the college.
