The District Institute of Education and Training, Balangir, is a prestigious teacher education institute located in Balangir, Odisha. DIET Balangir is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers quality education programs for aspiring teachers. The institute follows a rigorous admission process designed to select the most deserving candidates for its various programs. DIET Balangir offers admission into the various programmes running here, normally following the annual calendar of an academic session. The selection criteria adhere to the guidelines set by the state government regulations. This ensures a fair and transparent admission process for all applicants.

The eligibility criteria for DIET Balangir programs usually involve successful completion of the qualifying examination relevant to the chosen course. For the D.El.Ed program, candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination are eligible to apply. Specific academic requirements and age limits may vary for different programs, and candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria for their chosen course.

Application Process

The application process for DIET Balangir programs is systematic and transparent. In general, here are the steps:

1. Notification: The institute issues an admission notification, which usually appears on its official website or in local newspapers, announcing the beginning of the application process.

2. Application Form: Students will have to procure and fill in the application form. This is mostly available online at the institute's website or may be collected from the institute's admission office.

3. Document Submission: In addition to the duly filled application form, candidates must present all other required documents, which are:

  • Passport size photographs
  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, graduation as applicable)
  • Date of birth proof

Throughout the application process, candidates are informed to keep a close watch on the institute's official website or notice board for any updates or changes in the admission schedule. It is essential to adhere to all deadlines and provide correct information in the application to avoid any complications in the admission process.

Degree wise Admission Process
