The College has a Library subscribes e-books and e-journals through INFLIBNET (Information and Library Network) N-LIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) program funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through ICT. The N-LIST program provides access to more than 6000+ e-journals (including current issues with 10 years back files) and 97000+ e-books to its users. The library has provided user login IDs and Passwords to the students and staff for using this service. The library is open from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on all working days. An identity card is a must for all library transactions. ID cards are non-transferable. The time of book circulation will be from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Books are issued to the members for 14 days and can be renewed only once.
The college has sports facilities for all students. It aims to provide sports activities for the personality development of students with the Motto: “A healthy mind in a healthy body.” The Sports Club plans and organizes all sports and games in collaboration with the Physical Director. It identifies and selects the talented students to represent the College at various sports competitions, accompanies the participants, and makes arrangements for transportation, refreshments, accommodation at the competitions.
The college has PG and UG computer labs with 120 computers at students’ disposal, offering practical sessions for students especially those doing B.Sc., Computer Science, BCA, B.Com Computer Applications, B.Sc., Mathematics, B.Sc., Digital Print Media, M.Sc., Computer Science, M.Sc., Mathematics, M.Sc., Physics.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. From the very beginning of the College in 2007, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The Canteen is located inside the College campus. The day scholars are provided meals by assuring food safety and quality. The students, who come from faraway places, start their journey to the College early in the morning. The mid-day meal is provided. Even many day-scholars use canteen facilities for their breakfast and morning coffee with snacks.
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The auditorium has over the years played host to so many daily assemblies, meetings, symposiums, cultural activities, graduation ceremonies, and celebrations. This Open Auditorium which has a warm, old-world ambiance but is nevertheless equipped with the latest technology is still the perfect venue for any College gathering.
The College has full-fledged Transport department functions in the College with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs 16 buses for providing transport facilities to staff and students from various places in the Dharmapuri district. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
The college has good networking for the alumni association. The Indian National Federation of Don Bosco Alumni is a member of the World Confederation of the Past pupils of Don Bosco. All students who pass out from Don Bosco College, Dharmapuri are becoming members of the Don Bosco Alumni Association. The College is proud of having an active and vibrant Alumni Association. It is the initiative of a group of former students, with the object of organizing an annual reunion. The first meeting was attended by about 250 members, and the proceedings lasted half a day. Very briefly, the objectives are to promote the social and cultural interests of the alumni, through meetings and publications, and to promote the development of the College.
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Digital print media lab.
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff. The entire College campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a high-speed internet connection to allow both staff and students to access the internet no-matter wherever they are. All computers are connected through a LAN and users can access the internet and intranet. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to classrooms but also extends to all the areas including office, library, laboratories, auditorium, and seminar hall. All the websites browsed by staff and students are regularly monitored.
The College has Parking Service of the College is responsible for giving quality parking service to staff, students and visitors. The parking area for staff and visitors is located near the main building of the College, and for students near College Canteen. The Coordinator, Mr. M. Xavier Denise, along with other staff, operates the Parking Service.
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. catering to the girls doing their undergraduate courses Postgraduate courses at College is located very close to the campus, and are run by FMA Sisters. Being personally supervised and monitored by the Sisters, the hostel is a safe and happy ‘home away from home.
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
