Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Rourkela (DAIPS) is a rather recently established institution. with quality education in pharmaceutical sciences. The institute, being PCI approved, has an admission process that is structured in order to select qualified students for its pharmacy programs. DAIPS is rather committed to equality because it is a co-educational institution as well.
The DAIPS admission cycle is set to match the academic calendar of pharmacy education in India, allowing for applications to start in the first quarter of the year for the academic session that starts later.
The candidate applying to DAIPS must have completed his 10+2 education with core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics from a recognized board. Application Procedure

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma : Four-year undergraduate course of Bachelor of Pharmacy with an intake of 100 approved seats. Admission will be through counseling based on entrance examination performance of candidate, possibly NEET or as applicable any pharmacy entrance examination conducted at the state level. Eligibility: 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
D.Pharma: DAIPS provides a course in Diploma in Pharmacy with 60 approved intakes. Such a course takes about two years to complete for students who have the desire to join the pharmacy sector as quickly as possible. The admission of D.Pharma can be according to the merit of 10+2 scores or through any entrance exam prescribed by the government of the particular state. It is generally accessible to students passing 10+2 with the science stream.
