Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of D.Pharm is located at Sewagram, Wardha established in 1987. As an affiliated college, the institute enjoys approval by PCI and AICTE and has made pharmaceutical education its special prerogative with a total enrolment strength of 119 students in its faculty of 12 members. There is only one course- the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) offered at this college, but it does focus on pharmaceutical education. Adarsh Nagar, Sewagram Road, is the location of this institute. Thus, it is easily reached and well-connected.

Several facilities are there in the institute to cater to the requirement of the students, enhance their experience, and further their academic pursuits. The very heart of its resources is the library, a spacious and well-ventilated hall that can accommodate up to 50 students. It has approximately 1,500 volumes of reference books and subscribes to about 10 periodicals, including journals and daily newspapers, in the three languages - English, Hindi, and Marathi. The institute library is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all Saturdays from Monday to Saturday for every student to utilize as a source for personal development as well as academic pursuit.

Sports facilities are also provided by the institute to the students to ensure their physical well being and personal growth. The college philosophy emphasizes that champions are made not only in games but also by inner desire, dreams, and vision. In this pursuit, the institute integrates various games and sports in the curriculum so that the students realize their mental and physical capabilities. To refresh and socialize, the institute provides a canteen in the campus. This facility caters to the faculty, staff, and students by providing food at concession. Sitting places are designed distinctly for staff and students. The institute's academic orientation is very well reflected in courses.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of D.Pharma delivers only one focused course that is Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This two-year full-time course is approved to take up 60 students per year in order to sustain the optimum faculty-to-student ratio and provide quality education.
