Eligible candidates must complete registration and submit applications via the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, Mumbai, to be considered for admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
Admissions of the candidates will be based on merit and a merit list will be prepared accordingly for participation in the CAP round.
During the CAP round, candidates have to select DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research as their preferred choice in the choice-filling round.
The authority will allot the seat accordingly based on preferences, cut-off, and the score of the candidates.
After the seat allotment process, candidates will be asked to report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for document verification and fee payment.

Candidates wishing to seek admission at DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research have to participate in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education DTE, Maharashtra.
Eligible candidates must register themselves at the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra for the entrance examination (MHT CET).

The admissions to the course will be done through a Common Entrance Test and Interview/Viva-Voce conducted by SPPU.
Candidates are required to qualify for the entrance test to be eligible for the further admission process.
Qualified candidates will then be called to appear for a personal interview organised by the Department Research Committee/Central Research Committee (DRC/CRC).
Candidates will have to get their documents verified at the time of the interview/viva voce. The candidates will be asked to discuss their research interests/areas through a presentation before the DRC/CRC committee.
Admissions will then be offered to candidates based on their performance in the entrance test and the interview/viva voce.

Note: DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DYPIPSR) also provides a Diploma in Pharmacy to the students. Candidates belonging to states other than Maharashtra are eligible for the Institutional quota only.

Pharma d course or doctor of Pharmacy is a 6 year course which requires eligibility of 10+2 or Diploma in Pharmacy. Fees for pharma d is different for various Institutions. It ranges from 3.5 to 20 lakhs depending on the Institution you are enrolled in. So dear student if you want to take admission in any of the courses in pharmaceutical at least you need to to qualify your class 12th from a state or national board.
