    B.Optometry 

    4 years 

    • Candidates must be an Indian National, NRVPiO, or FN. Proof of Nationality can be obtained from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate, or Metropolitan Magistrate.

    • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31 of that year. 

    • Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English subjects and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for reserved category). 

    • Alternatively, candidates who have passed the Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) from a recognized board are also eligible, with consideration given to overall marks.

    M.Optometry 

    2 years 

    • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Optometry or an equivalent program and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks. 

    • The degree should be obtained from an Indian University that is a member of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO), India, and Optometry Council of India (OCI).

    • Foreign student category applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Optometry (B. Optom) or an equivalent course. The degree should be from a University that is an affiliate member of the World Council of Optometry (WCO) and/or is recognized by a competent educational body, such as a national council or association in the candidate's country of origin or the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

    • Candidates should have reached the age of 22 years as of December 31 in the year of admission to be eligible for the program.
