Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed course of Dr. NGP College of Education and Research Centre is sanctioned for an intake of 100 students. The intake to the programme is on merit basis keeping in view the marks secured at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process can also be based on any other parameters as per state government policy, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university. The programme is designed for two years with an objective of developing professional teachers, tutors, mentors, and trainers.
D.Ed (Diploma in Education):
The D.Ed course has 50 seats and has the same admission procedure as the B.Ed course. Admission is on merit basis considering the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The college follows the same selection procedure as prescribed by the State Government, U.T. administration, and the concerned University. The two-year diploma course is teacher training and imparting students with current educational trends.
