DRR Polytechnic, Davangere Admission Process
DRR Polytechnic, Davangere, is one of the oldest poly-, Karnataka, has had experience of over seven decades in technical education. The institute is an affiliate of VTU and is approved by AICTE to deliver various diploma programs in different engineering branches. This is a merit-based admission process, further strictly maintaining the reservation categories as dictated by the government. The merit-sedimentary admission process looks for deserving candidates in DRR within every qualifying year.
For admission into DRR Polytechnic, students have to be tested depending on their scores in the qualifying examinations, generally their 10th or equivalent. Eligibility criteria to pursue diploma courses in DRR include successful completion of 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Different subjects might be required for different programs, but a good foundation in Mathematics and Science is generally preferred for engineering diploma courses.

Degree wise Admission Process
Diploma in Commercial Practice: The program admits 80 students. Admission is based on merit in each category of reservation. Candidates should have completed their initial education in 10th standard commercial subjects.
Diploma in Civil Engineering: There are 60 seats in the program, wherein students are admitted based on merit in the qualifying examination, along with ensuring the reservation categories. A proper base in Mathematics and Science is good for aspiring civil engineers.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Similar to the previous two, it also offers 60 seats. Admissions are merit-based, considering the reservation. This course is ideal for students interested in mechanics along with problem-solving abilities.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: For admission into this course, the institute accepts 60 students. Selection is based on merit within a reservation category. A thorough understanding of basic electronics and mathematics is beneficial for applicants.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: The course offers 60 seats. Like the previous courses, this also follows the same admission process based on merit, maintained according to the reservation norm. Students with a strong foundation in physics and mathematics become very suitable candidates.
Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: The program also comprises 60 seats. Admission is given on merit in each category of reservation. Candidates with a logical mind and good basic skills in computers will find the program particularly suitable for them.

Please mention the college name and the courses for which you are interested to take admission. As the result has not been announced yet by CBSE. But for general the admissions for session 2021-2022 are started and majorly it will held in the month of Septmember. Admissions to IIT will be held in the month of October.
Without mentioning any course and college it is quite difficult to answer accordingly. Hope you get this.
