Dudhnoi College, Goalpara in Assam, India is a co-educational institute of learning. The college follows a merit-based admission procedure into its undergraduate program. While admission for the courses offered at Dudhnoi College starts as soon as the results for 10+2 are announced, applications are to be made according to the performance of students in their qualifying examinations. Degree wise Admission Process
BA (Bachelor of Arts): Dudhnoi College offers several programs under BA Honours, which are: English, History, Political Science, Education, Assamese, Geography, Philosophy, Bodo, Anthropology, Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics. Admission to these courses is based on the merit list that will be prepared according to the student's 10+2 performance. Different subjects have different intake capacities; the number of seats allocated for the popular subjects like English and Political Science is up to 100, whereas programs with a smaller interest, like Statistics, only admit 5 students.
B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): The College also provides the following B.Sc Honours programs in Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Anthropology, and Statistics. The merit-based admission procedure is similar to the one applied for in the above two courses corresponding only to the relevant science subjects for candidates in their 10+2 exam. Admission capacity for the majority of B.Sc Honours programs is around 50 seats and, for some specialized courses, it restricts the seats further.
B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): Dudhnoi College provides B.Com Honours in Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Finance, and Accountancy. The methodology for admission into these degrees is the same merit-based system, like the other undergraduate programs. Each B.Com Honours program has its prescribed intake capacity of 50 seats.
Studying bsc in mathematics for being a maths teacher in future..............the quality of teaching is average......curriculum is not updated ... It doesn't help us becoming job ready though we study quite seriously
