can i get admission in cs with 64149 rank in jee mains. general outside maharashtra.

With 64k general category rank it's not possible to get into the computer science engineering branch in any of the nits or iiits or top engineering colleges.

Not only in Maharashtra but in any state. Although you could get cse in some college like

But Sindri
Chandigarh University
Jecrc etc

But for these college also you have to wait till the final rounds of counselling them you may get there isn't any surety.

Is DY patil college of engineering pune is good for placement? can you suggest me to take admission in cse?

Well in terms of placement D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune is good.About 70%–85% students get a placement In decent IT companies with an average salary of about 5 lakhs per annum and the highest has gone 35 lakhs per annum well if you are willing to join the institute then you may go for it. DY Patil is the most famous college in Pune for engineering and most of the admissions here are due to its infrastructure.We have been provided with the facility of library, labs which have open air conditioners.Every day surveys are taken from students on campus regarding infrastructure and efforts are made to improve it.

There is no shortage of any kind in the infrastructure left by the college people, the college just needs to focus on one thing and that is cleanliness.The size of the library here is also very big, two departments come and do practicals at a time.Along with having a library, study rooms have also been built where students can study in their free time.Free Wi-Fi facility is available in the entire campus and smart boards are installed in every class.
