Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process

MD Programs: Currently, the MD streams at ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research include: Anaesthesiology, Dermatology Venereology, and Leprosy, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Pathology, and Microbiology. Admission to the courses is given according to the ranks the candidates have secured in NEET PG. Entry for different specialties is a bit different in terms of the approved intake: Anaesthesiology-6, Dermatology-5, Paediatrics-5, General Medicine-4, Pathology-3, and Microbiology-2.

MS Programs: These are the MS programs offered by the institute: Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Ophthalmology. Admission in the MS courses is based on merit as per NEET PG results. The approved intake for Orthopaedics, General Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology is 8 each, while that of Ophthalmology is 5.

DM Program: ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research has also a DM program in Pulmonary Medicine with an approved intake of 4 seats.
