Eligibility criteria for admission in b.com course offered by ethiraj college is following:

Candidates should have passed their 10+2 standards from a recognized board with following subjects aaccounacy, commerce/business studies,mathematics/business mathematics and economics/ computer science.

College provides a good campus life to students.  Placemnet rate of college is also high. Many MNCs come each year to recruit students.

Located in sylvan surroundings, the three block hostel facility is a home away from home for many students. The hostel facility of the college was started in 1948, by our beloved founder, Shri. V.L. Ethiraj. In those years, when women’s education itself was rare, our founder went the extra mile and thought about the security of the women who take to higher education. So he benevolently gave away his house that was situated within the campus premises to be converted to a hostel. In addition to this, the hostels have a gym, reading and recreation rooms, spacious dining halls, and telecommunication facilities. The hostels also house a full time doctor and many corporate hospitals are available in the vicinity for emergency situations.

As per your query A room is shared by three students. At the beginning of every academic year approximate a sum of 20000 rupees has to be paid. Mess bill is calculated and have to be paid separately every month.

Commencement of registration process usually begins in the month of May-June for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. but things are different this time due to covid 19 pandemic  admission schedules are being revised and in case of Ethiraj College no update had been provided regarding starting of application form, but you can register for Hindustan College of Science and Arts at https://pay.hcaschennai.edu.in:5002/admission/

There are number of courses offered by ethiraj college of women, they are B.A. Business Economics, B.A. in English, B.A in English and communication skills, B.com, B.com accounting and finance, B.com bank management, CS, BBA, BSc biochemistry, bsc clinical nutrition and dietician, bsc computer science, bsc physiology, visual communication, maths, and BCA are courses offered during evening shift of this college.
