Degree-wise Admission Process
LLB: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is a full-time, three-year degree program provided by the Faculty of Law. This program has an approved intake of 120 seats and aims to provide students with a solid foundational understanding and skills training. Entry to the LLB program is based on the merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent).
BA LLB: A five-year integrated BA LLB program, which combines legal education and arts subjects, is provided by the faculty with an intake of 60. A candidate with 10+2 qualifications is eligible to apply for BA LLB program. Selection depends on the applicant's higher secondary exam performance.
The LLM program is for law graduates who wish to specialize in particular areas of law. The program does not indicate the exact intake, although it is generally required to hold a bachelor's degree in law (LLB or equivalent) from an accredited university in order to be admitted. The selection process may [or may not] be based on the candidate's academic success in his or her LLB program.
LLB: The doctor of law program aims to enable candidates who wish to conduct advanced research in law.
