With your CAT percentile you have good chances of getting a call from FMS.The minimum percentile required is approximately 80 for SC students. Moreover you can get calls from most of the IIMs also but in order to get selected you'll have to perform really well in the subsequent selection rounds as FMS has a very rigorous process of selection.

All the very best

FMS has closed its registration pprocess for the Academic session 2020-22. In General International Candidates, have to appear for GMAT and score nothing less than 650 to be eligible for FMS. They have to reach out through their embassy for all admission process. Such Candidates also need to submit their TOEFL scores. Please check their Information Brochure: https://fmsadmissions.com/downloads/5bbb55ec9411d328046858_new2_Information_Bulletin_MBA&Doctoral_Programmes%E2%80%932019_Print(2)output.pdf

Hello dear,

For physically challenged students there no cut off marks as they don't need to appear in CAT exam there selection is based on the GD and PI round till 2019.But from 2020 there should be cut off required for that  they have to appear in CAT exam.

Cut off for General and OBC students goes around 80-85 percentile according to that the percentile for the PC students should be lower.

Hope this will help you.

Thank You.

FMS Delhi doesn't differentiate between the Academic qualifications. There are points for Diversity but CAT score takes the maximum weightage along with your Academic  marks. FMS Delhi usually has the highest cut offs for its 200 seat intake. The selection process includes 3 stage method. They are:

Eligibility Criteria

Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Final Selection

The basic eligibility criteria remains 50% aggregate for General Category in Graduation and 45% for Reserved Categories or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University. The percentiles in CAT are considered for the further rounds. In 2018, the weightage given for various sections of CAT have been as follows:

QA: 30%

DILR: 30%

VARC: 40%

An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case of women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows:

Personal Interview: 15%

CAT score: 60%

Group Discussion: 10%

Extempore: 5%

10th marks: 5%

12th marks: 5%

An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview. Now with all this process, the cut offs is an important issue to be discussed. Previously FMS used to consider overall CAT score for shortlisting. However since the past 2 years, FMS has been giving sectional preference and weightage. VARC occupies the top position with 40% weightage. A Candidate with at least 97 sectional weightage will be shortlisted at FMS. So it is important to focus more on VARC section while not leaving other sections. Higher cut offs are due to the intensity of the competition at FMS, Delhi. Their placements speak for themselves. FMS, Delhi concluded 2018 placements with an average placement package of 22.60 Lakhs for Women Candidates. Out of a batch of 223 Students, 215 participated in Placements and all of them have been placed there by leaving FMS, Delhi at the top in 100% Placement Companies. Though 133 companies participated in Hiring process, 83 companies could make the recruitment offers.

With your percentile it may be a little difficult to get IIT BHU though you belong to obc because there are limited seats and the competition is very high. But you can surely check out these colleges. You'll have a good chance there
  • XIME Bangalore
  • XISS Ranchi
  • IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad
  • IMI Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata
  • ITM Navi Mumbai and others.
They'll give you a good career ahead and get you a decent job.

Good Luck

Hello,
In 2019 the cut off for FMS BHU was 85% percentile for candidates who belong to general category. And there is no minimum cut off percentile for reserved candidates. And this cut may change in 2020.So if you belong to reserved category you may get selected. The final selection is based on 50 percentage in CAT, 30 percentage in group discussion and interview and 20 percentage for past education performance.

Hello Neha

FMS give higher weightage to Verbal sectional scores (40%VA, 30 for QA & DILR).Since FMS have also weightage for 10th and 12th scores and CAT weightage is reduced to 60% now your acds and GDPI will play a important role for Convert.

9/15 in PI round to convert in the last stages of the admission process.

Placement record of BHU FMS is about 95%. More than 3 dozen companies had come to visit the campus for placement last year. 90+ students  applied and they got about 70 offers. The highest salary which student got in late year was about 15 lakh rupees per annum. And average salary was about 7 lakh rupees per annum.
