Great Lakes PGPM & PGDM 2025
ApplyAdmissions Open | Globally Recognized by AACSB (US) & AMBA (UK) | 17.3 LPA Avg. CTC for PGPM 2024 | Application Deadline: 1st Dec 2024
Hey,
Generally the percentile required for CW-5 is below than what required for OBC category. OBC candidates requires 95+ percentile in CAT to make through FMS while CW-5 can expect a call at 70+ percentile as well.
Also, the composite score is obviously way lower for cw when compared to obc after extempore and further interview rounds.
Hope this helps.
Hey,
XLRI doesn't give any weightage to CAT since they conduct their own test called XAT. XAT is any other mba exam somewhat like CAT with two additional sections of decision making and GK, which gives admission in XLRI and may other colleges.
Whereas FMS consider only CAT score to get admission in it. Also you hav to fill a separate form for FMS apart from CAT to apply in their college once the CAT score is out.
Hope this helps.

ELIGIBILITY -
XLRI JAMSHEDPUR: For the 2 years course offered by XLRI as full time PGDM (BM), PGDM (HRM) is that the applicant should have a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent. All the applicants should apply for XAT 2019. An applicant who is appearing for final year examination for bachelor's degree and are waiting for results can also apply.
FMS DELHI: Applicants should have minimum 50% in at least three year degree programme in Bachelor's degree and 45% for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/CW category. Applicants who are appearing for final year in their Bachelor's degree course can also apply .
If you ask me, both of the colleges are very good and have good alumni network and reputation. However, if asked to choose one, go for XLRI, being the oldest and best MBA college, my choice would be XLRI.

Hi Dear,
Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi consider sectional percentile while calculating composite score. But there is no cut off for sectional cut off for Delhi School of Economics (DSE), University of Delhi and Delhi School of Finance, Delhi. The cut off changes every year. Other colleges not having sectional cut off is as follows:
Good Luck
Dear aspirant,
As far as FMS is concerned there is no chance to get a call from this as the sectional cut off is very high according to your score.
But you can accept a call from iit kgp, madras and delhi too. Even nitie is not possible to crack because of your file sectional cut off because it is 80 percentile for each subject.
Hello Aspirant,
