The Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad Educational Trust, Moradabad, provides different pharmaceutical education courses recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. The institute has a systematic admission process for its various courses, ensuring the admission of qualified candidates.
For B.Pharma and similar undergraduate courses, students need to pass in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) and attend the counseling organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Admission to the D.Pharma course is on the basis of the rank received in the Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh (UPJEE(P)) and thereafter through counseling.
Postgraduate admissions to M.Pharma programs can be secured by two means: AKTU counseling after clearing CUET-PG or direct admission against unfilled seats. Admission in the B.Pharma Lateral Entry program is carried out by UPSEE Counselling.
Application Process
Application procedure is different for different programs:
For B.Pharma:
1. Appear and pass CUET-UG.
2. Attend AKTU counseling.
3. Select Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad Educational Trust during counseling.
For D.Pharma:
1. Appear and pass UPJEE(P).
2. Attend UPJEE(P) counseling.
3. Select MET Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad during counseling.
For B.Pharma Lateral Entry:
1. Attend UPSEE Counselling.
2. Adhere to the counseling procedure to gain admission.
For M.Pharma courses (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry):
Option 1 (Through AKTU counseling):
1. Appear and qualify in CUET-PG.
2. Attend AKTU counseling.
3. Select the preferred M.Pharma course at the institute.
Option 2 (Direct admission):
1. Verify vacant seats after AKTU counseling.
2. Register directly with the Institute's Admission Cell.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: Admission in the B.Pharma course, that includes 100 seats, is by qualifying in the CUET-UG test. Then candidates have to attend counseling organized by AKTU to get admission.
D.Pharma: The D.Pharma course includes 60 seats. Candidates have to sit and pass the UPJEE(P). Admission will be on the basis of rank secured in this test and then counseling where candidates opt for MET Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad.
B.Pharma Lateral Entry: Admission to this course is done through UPSEE Counselling. The seats available for this course are not defined.
M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry): Both the M.Pharma courses provide 15 seats per course. Admission can be achieved through two ways:
1. AKTU counseling: Candidates need to pass CUET-PG and then undergo AKTU counseling.
2. Direct admission: For vacant seats after AKTU counseling, candidates can register directly with the Admission Cell of the Institute.
In the aspect of academics, the teaching faculty are not very standard, some are so great but some are not even average. Even though classes are regular, some of the teaching faculty are not good enough.
I was studing b.pharm from the collage. The teacher studying quality is average all the staff was currently doing phd. The collage take mock interview of the student and prepare them for the job interview.
