The infrastructure for BCA students is well-furnished with computer labs, projectors, and a digital library. Hostel facilities are good, with spacious rooms, regular maintenance, and 24/7 security. The mess food is average, and Wi-Fi connectivity requires improvement in some areas. The campus offers recreational facilities such as a gym, sports courts, and common rooms, providing students with opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.
The Computer Applications faculty has highly qualified and experienced faculty who provide good academic advice. There are mostly efficient professors in programming concepts, database management, and networking subjects but a few conceptual professors. Increased practical learning using live projects and industry case studies would be desirable.
Placement opportunities for BCA students at FIT are average, with approximately 50-60% of the students getting placed. The placement cell has connections with mid-level IT companies and start-ups, and there is a well-organized recruitment process. Some of the most notable recruiters are Aarav Software Solutions, Trident Analytical Solutions, Webkul, Algoworks, Innoeye Technologies, and MothersonSumi Infotech & Designs.
The facilities and infrastructure for BCA students are kept clean and maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, 24/7. Labs are equipped, and a Mac lab is provided for students. Classrooms and libraries provide good learning space. Hostel facilities include Wi-Fi, a mess, a canteen, and sports facilities to keep students comfortable in their stay.
College is affiliated with CCS UNIVERSITY and The faculty is cooperative, competent, and experienced. The quality of instruction is good and is reinforced by significant industry experience. The curriculum is practical and relevant, making the students industry-ready. Semester examinations are of average difficulty with a passing standard of 33% out of 100.
About 50% of the students from BCA got placement. The highest package was 20 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. Accenture, Josh Technology, Capgemini, and Infosys hire from the college. Over 90% of students got internships in firms such as Coding Ninjas and MAQ Software. The most preferred jobs for this course are software developer engineer and front-end engineer.
The infrastructure of the college is also sufficient with all the basic needs such as classrooms, labs, and a library. There could still be some room for improvement regarding modern equipment and well-maintained facilities. Wi-Fi does not support good connectivity, and students have to struggle hard to access online materials.
The faculty are knowledgeable but not very interactive. While some of the instructors try their best to guide students through, the overall teaching methodology can be better. Practical learning and industry-based training can be given more emphasis to BCA students.
The placement opportunities at FIT are very less. Although some companies come to the campus, the placements are very few. The college needs to make an effort to invite well-known companies for recruitment and have improved placement facilities. In addition, there is no proper mock training conducted, and thus it is challenging for the students to face actual interviews and industry problems.
The infrastructure of the college is average, yet it is in need of enhancement. There is Wi-Fi on campus, although the speed is not consistent. There are IT and programming textbooks in the library, yet the selection is not good. There are general hardware and software installed in the computer labs for practicing purposes. There are sports facilities such as a basketball court and a common room on campus for leisure.
The faculty is sufficiently learned and experienced in their subject of specialization. Some of the professors adopt modern-age methods of teaching, such as case studies and problem-solving in real-life situations, while others adopt the traditional method of lecturing. Group assignments and projects enable the students to cultivate team-working capabilities. The examinations are not very challenging, but hard work must be put in to learn practically. The overall study environment is good, but the students have to take the initiative to learn industry-specific skills.
Internship choice is generally done in the first semester. In FIT Group of Institutions, a CCS University Meerut affiliate, BCA students, however, do not have many placement opportunities. The recruitment companies that come are either local or mid-level IT companies. Some students get internships in Wipro, TCS, HCL, and Infosys, and some others have to arrange themselves. The maximum package offered is approximately 6 LPA, and the average package offered is 3-4 LPA. Software development, technical support, and web development positions are offered.
The college infrastructure is minimal but not properly maintained. The classrooms are satisfactory but sometimes poorly ventilated. The library has limited books on BCA, and Wi-Fi connectivity is available but not consistent. The hostel facilities are substandard with costly food and poor management. Sports facilities are available but receive little attention.
The lecturers are highly qualified, but the teaching method is outdated. Some teachers are friendly, but in general, students must study independently in order to stay current with industry trends. Schedules for exams are generally unclear—sometimes they are delayed, sometimes they occur earlier than planned. The exams themselves are not particularly challenging, so they are not a significant issue. Practical training is restricted, though, and students must strive hard in order to gain skills that apply to the real world.
Placements of BCA students at FIT Group of Institutions, which is a CCS University-affiliated institution, are not good. Not many students in my course are placed in campus interviews. Placement opportunities are mostly for technical courses such as B.Tech, and BCA students are left to fend for themselves to secure a job. Some students are given internships, but these are unpaid or in small firms.
FIT Group of Institutions has a reasonably good campus with spacious classrooms, and the basic facilities are available; the library and computer lab are hardly operational but require up-gradation for more advanced resources. The campus is clean, and an atmosphere for learning, but modern amenities are lacking there.
The B.com curriculum has important subjects such as accounts and finance. Faculty members are helpful but the syllabus looks pretty outdated in many cases. Digitally related subjects and projects would make learning not only relevant but also interesting.
Placements are decent in companies such as startups . However, most roles remain in sales and marketing, hence limited for students who may have different interests. A broader set of recruiters would cater to varied career goals.
Program is affordable and good value with scholarships available for deserving students. In this regard, the quality of education justifies the cost, but with diversity in placement and updates in curriculum, it would have been better.
Campus life is quite lively and there are plenty of clubs and events that a student could attend for fun. The students here are very friendly. However, the departments cross one another very little. More interdepartmental activities would be well-suited to bring them together.
College is really too good as this college comes under the Dr. A.P.J abdul kalam university as our college is good wih classrooms and labs as well with the good incampus library for the students and whole campus is wifi enabled.
Really a too good studying in campus as the quality of teaching superb and I love the way faculty is treating to the students they are really high professional which provide motivation to us for better future .
Placement is also good at all as there are good drives being attained in the campus for better future of the students. College is having placement cell in campus for the better drives from the different company like tcs, amazon , flipkart , DHL and many more.
It's really enjoyable campus life for me as teachers , staff are supportive to us.
