GATE Nalgonda Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Gandhi Academy of Technical Education (GATE Nalgonda) is an affiliated institution located in Nalgonda, Telangana. The institution provides a wide range of courses in technical education and management-related programs concerning engineering, technology, and management. Admission to GATE Nalgonda is based on merit as prescribed by the regulations of state government and other regulatory authorities.

The admission procedure at GATE Nalgonda is dependent on the course that is being selected wherein, majorly, consideration is given to entrance test scores. TS EAMCET scores are considered for undergraduate engineering programs. TS PGECET scores are used to admit postgraduate students for M. Tech. programs, along with TSICET scores for MBA program admissions.

In the case of diploma courses, the consideration for admission is given against the TS POLYCET scores. These entrance tests form a predominant hurdle in the path of any candidate seeking admission into the varied technical courses undertaken by GATE Nalgonda. Normally, the admission process goes into full swing in the months preceding the academic year, which commences around August-September.

Application Process

B.Tech programs:

1. Clearing the TS EAMCET.
2. Registering for the state-level counseling process.
3. Choosing GATE Nalgonda and preferred courses during the counseling.
4. Reporting to the institute if allotted a seat for document verification and fee payment.

In case of M.Tech programs:

1. Clearing the TS PGECET.
2. Applying through the state-level counseling process.
3. Choosing GATE Nalgonda and desired M.Tech specialization.
4. Completing the admission process if a seat is allotted.

In case of MBA:

1. Clear the TSICET.
2. The candidate shall attend the state-level counseling.
3. GATE Nalgonda can be selected in the counseling.
4. Complete the admission process if selected.

In case of Diploma programs:

1. Clear the TS POLYCET.
2. The counseling application shall be submitted for diploma admissions.
3. Select GATE Nalgonda and the desired diploma course.
4. Report to the institute for admissions if a seat is allotted.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Tech programs: GATE Nalgonda offers a variety of B.Tech programs including, but not limited to, Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Admissions to all these programs are based on TS EAMCET scores. The institution enjoys the largest share of an additional 216 seats for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

M.Tech Programs: GATE Nalgonda offers specializations in M.Tech program like VLSI, Power Electronics, Thermal Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering for postgraduate engineering courses. Admissions to these programs are based on the scores obtained in TS PGECET. Normally one sanctioned intake for each of the M.Tech programs is around 30 seats.

MBA Program: The institute has a sanctioned intake of 180 seats for the MBA program, with the admission being granted on the basis of TSICET scores.

Diploma Programs: The institute also provides different engineering diploma courses in Agriculture Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Candidate admission would depend on the score obtained in the TS POLYCET test, which determined the acceptance of these courses. Each programme has an approved intake of 60 seats.
