The mission of the Central Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic and full-text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the Institute Community. The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROMs, Online databases, audio-video cassettes, books, e-journals, patents, e-standards, theses, reports, monographs, etc. The library homepage will provide electronic access to various full text & bibliographical databases & e-journals. The Central Library has a Library management system managed by the Gagnapada Memorial Institute of D.Ed. along with other units of the Institute for the establishment and maintenance of quality library systems, services & procedures. The GUIDED computer lab is very special because it incorporates a great many essential and useful features in itself. The lab houses more than 20 computers and the computers in the lab have the latest versions of the software. It has a hard writing surface on each computer table so that the students have no problem taking notes. The GUIDED computer lab also has high-speed internet which helps us greatly in doing any research work. It also has a whiteboard and flip chart sheets as well as markers to make it simpler to teach for the teachers. Additionally, the GUIDED computer lab has a convenient air circulation system. A good air circulation system is quite important in a computer lab for mainly two reasons, firstly to protect the components from overheating and secondly for the comfort of the users. It also helps in teaching the students about the versatile nature of computers. It is the same multi-faceted nature of these machines that makes them highly important for the students. Whether it is for research purposes, for creating a digital document on it, or for taking out a printout of your document, computer labs are one resource that is critical for almost everyone in the Gagnapada Memorial Institute of D.Ed.

A well-equipped multipurpose hall enriched with modern devices like LCD Projectors, public address systems, and other audio-visual systems, covering an area of 2500 sq. ft. provides an excellent opportunity to perform seminars, workshops, cultural functions, prayers, guests, and others.

This Society was established with the point of view of providing quality education to the people of Murshidabad District. Hence it started with establishing various free social work camps in the most underdeveloped areas of the District. This provided a great impetus for backward people in this district. Now they could get quality education, treatment, etc. at their doorstep. Gagnapada Memorial Institute Of D.Ed is the first project of the society, to provide quality D.Ed education to the backward people of the district. All teachers who work for the society are highly qualified. Today the world has become a global village; there is a dire demand for quality education. Hence to fulfill this demand the society came up with various educational projects in around the district. Mission Foundation believes in quality education and its ultimate aim is to ignite the students' personality and prepare leaders of integrity and excellence who will make a difference in this world and meet the challenges of the global world. Our qualified staff and management are committed to this aim. The mission of GANGAPADA MEMORIAL INSTITUTE OF D.ED. is 'to foster critical analysis by training students both in theory and practice to equip them with skills needed for facing global challenges with teamwork and human values. And to build a quality network with the Industry, educationists, and society for exchanging knowledge. The modern teaching methodology assists the students in getting an all-around view of engineering, technology, and the entrepreneur world. The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up-to-date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise.
