Girija Devi Polytechnic College, Bhojpur, got established in the year 2015 and now stands as the lighthouse of technical education in the state of Bihar. It is an affiliated college located in the Industrial Area of Bihiya, which is vast in 5 acres and offers a deep environment for budding engineers. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and has rapidly developed into a nodal center for diploma programs in different branches of engineering. Girija Devi Polytechnic College offers full-time, three-year, intensive diploma programs. These include diplomas in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, as well as Civil Engineering. The intake for Mechanical Engineering in the program is 120 seats, along with the seats remaining at 60 for the other three programs, which makes the total of all programs to be 300.
