Global Group of Institute, Amritsar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are three well-equipped libraries, one for the Engg., MCA & MBA students and the second one exclusively for MBA students and the third for polytechnic students. There are more than 32,000 books purchased from reputed publishers along with a large number of magazines and National/International journals and Newspapers. Both the libraries are “E-Libraries” and have the facility of e-books and e-journals. Dedicated computers are available in the library for students to watch NPTEL videos of their respective subjects.

All the learning rooms are air-conditioned, well-furnished, and multimedia LCD projectors, and other Audio-Video aids for presentations.

The College has fitted with a Wi-Fi Internet facility

The newly built auditorium of our college is fitted with high-quality modern furniture, the latest equipment like a PA system, multimedia LCD, Wi-Fi Internet facility, Audio-Visual aids, etc.

Catering to a large number of day scholars, the college runs a fleet of buses for the convenience of its students and faculty. Students are charged a subsidized transportation fee for this facility. Buses cover several routes including  Amritsar, Tarn Tarn, Chabbal, Bhikhiwind, Ajnala, Chogawan, Rayya, Mehta, Qadian, Batala, Gurdaspur, Fatehgarh Churian, Dera Baba Nanak, etc.

All Rooms are spacious, well-ventilated, illuminated, air-cooled & well furnished. All bathrooms have a hot water facility.  All rooms are 4 seaters.  Power backup is available for all rooms. All rights of permission to avail of the Residential Facility are reserved with the Institutes and can be denied to any student without assigning any reason. No student shall be entitled to claim this facility as a matter of right. Residential Facilities will be offered on a First Come First Serve basis, or otherwise as decided by the Institutes. The location of the Residential Facility, floor, and room pattern are subject to change from time to time. Surprise inspection can be held anytime without any prior notice.

Along with a wide variety of clubs and societies contributing to the Global Group of Institutes’ lively life, we have a fine tradition in sports. We have earned a reputation for success in intercollegiate competitions and tournaments. We provide indoor and outdoor sports facilities including Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, cricket,  etc. Students participate in Sports with great enthusiasm. A new gymnasium has come up in the institute with the most modern equipment so that students can work out in the evening and gain freshness.

Every year, the Global Group of  Institutes organizes two days of Sports Meet for the students in the campus athletics track. Every semester we organize inter-departmental Cricket & Football tournaments known as Global Premier League (GPL), and Global Football League (GFL). Students participate in all the events with full enthusiasm.

A spacious and hygienic multi-cuisine restaurant caters to the needs of the students and staff. There is a committee of staff and students that inspect proper cleanliness, discipline, and quality of food served on a regular basis.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.
