The Placement and Career Guidance cell at Government Arts College For Men is established to support the students of both UG and PG to get placed in renowned companies. GAC Nandanam placement and Career Guidance cell coordinates with companies in order to get them for GAC Nandanam campus placement drives on the campus itself. It also conducts awareness sessions for the students who should know before they appear for the Government Arts College For Men placement drives.

GAC Nandanam Placement Procedure

• Invitation- The T&P cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure. The Training and Placement Cell then fixes their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.

• Registration- Students need to register themselves with the T&P cell for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.

• Slot-Allocation- Recruiters will then fix dates with Government Arts College for Men, Nandanam to visit the campus to conduct the recruitment process via various steps including written test, group discussion and interview. 

• Pre-Placement Talk- Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.

• Written Test- Students of the institute also need to appear and qualify a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
