The college provides affordable hostel facilities, inclusive of food and accommodation, for the poor and deserving students of the college hailing from nearby villages. All care and steps have been taken to ensure that the students are comfortable and are able to concentrate on their studies. Built on 14203.20 `sq. ft area, the hostel can accommodate 238 students. The hostel was built from the fund sanctioned by the state government. The State Government had sanctioned Rs. 6.50 lakhs in the year 1970 - 1971. In the hostel, 36 rooms are available on the ground floor and first floor.
One senior staff member is appointed as deputy warden and other two staff members as residential tutors to take care of students. There is a separate hostel for students belonging to the Backward class, The Most backward class, scheduled caste is maintained by the government.
A health center with all the basic requirements for women students has been established in the college.
A gymnasium with sophisticated equipment and instruments to enhance the fitness of students involved in sports. A gymnasium and indoor auditorium provide opportunities for the students to develop their physical skills. The college also provides sufficient facilities for students to participate in sports and games. A mini-gym facility with 9 stations was added in 2003 with the help of which, lifting and Powerlifting are offered to the students.
The Central Library of the College is located on the first floor and it has a total number of 42,218 books, 28 journals, 19 periodicals, and 7 dailies. It also has access to 97,000 e-books through NLIST and 10,000 through the College Intranet, 6,000 e-journals, and a digital database.
It provides internet access to students with a Local Area Network (LAN) of 8 computers. The library is equipped with a copier, inverter, and UPS facilities. Apart from the General Library, each department has its own library which has a sufficient number of books for study, reference, and circulation.
The college has a playground for various track and field events with facilities for playing volleyball, hockey, Basketball and ball-badminton, a table tennis court and a well-equipped GYM is also available.
In the Department of Computer Science, separate lab facilities are available for UG and PG students. There are 38 PCs in the UG Lab and 31 PCs in the PG Lab. Other facilities like LCD Projector, Digital Visualizer, 2 HDTV’s and Mobile speech Amplifier are provided. PCs are networked through LAN. Two systems with broadband internet connection are made available to the students and staff members.
In the microprocessor laboratory, 25 microprocessor kits are available. The computers and other sensitive equipment are provided with UPS so that the power failure will not cause any damage. It gives an opportunity for excellent hands-on experience on the updated Pentium machines with all the latest software.
A canteen facility is provided to staff members and students of both Shift I and Shift II. The canteen is situated in a separate block. There is a canteen within the college premises which is run by a private person. The P.W.D. allots it by auction, every year. It is well maintained in a hygienic manner and monitored by the Canteen Committee once a week. The timings of the canteen are from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm which benefits both first and second shift students. Meals, tea, coffee, cool drinks, and snacks are served at a subsidized rate and the cost of each item is displayed at the entrance of the canteen.
The college has a separate well-furnished, air-conditioned Wi-Fi-enabled seminar hall with an electronic podium, whiteboard, LCD projector, interactive e-board devices, public address system, and other sufficient amenities available. The seminar hall is equipped with an audio-visual facility and a portable generator.
The college has a free bus service from the bus stand to the college arranged in cooperation with the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation.
The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
The college has a Wi-Fi facility on the whole campus for all students and staff.
The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.
No my college don't have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. Needs More improvement in classroom facilities. Library and labaratories should be improved. No the living places are not clean
