Govt. College of Education, Akola established in 1956 - Govt. College of Education, Ramdaspeth, Akola, Maharashtra This co-educational college that enrolls students into the local university offers teacher education and is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education. Government College of Education, Akola offers academic courses in the stream of only B.Ed. This is a two-year course, taken on a full-time basis, and is approved for an intake of 50 students. Although there is only one course, the college ensures a comprehensive and in-depth approach to teacher education so that the students can stay fully involved in their field of study.
