Government Degree College, Udhampur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a Hostel facility available for 90 male students in Boy's Hostel. Three students are accommodated in a room. 

The College library is housed in a newly constructed spacious building. It has more than 53000 books on various subjects. The College has a rich library where there is no dearth of the latest books concerning the syllabi which are issued to the students under the rules. Latest Journals, Magazines, Periodicals, and Newspapers are displayed in the Reading room. Students are encouraged to make proper use of this facility in their free time.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The College Canteen is run by a private contractor who is approved on a competitive basis for one academic session. The eatables provided are subsidized for students.

The college maintains a Medical-Aid center for the first aid of the students. The required infrastructure and medicines are available in the center which is a by Medical-Aid committee and run by the pharmacist, Sh. Chander Mohan.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College has a splendid playground for Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis, volleyball, Kabaddi, and Badminton. Games are played regularly and every student is expected to play at least one game. Every student is expected to have the usual equipment for the games he/she opts for.

The College Separate parking facility is available for the Staff and the Students. Staff vehicles have issued a pass to be parked in the unmarked area. Students will have to prove their identity before they are allowed to use students' parking. A comprehensive proposal for a new parking area is in pipeline.
