Diploma in Dental Hygienist is a full-time two-year course offered by the University of Kashmir, Srinagar and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).


Eligibility Criteria

No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the diploma curriculum of the first-year dental Hygienist Diploma Course until he/ she has:-

a). Completed the age of seventeen years at the time of admission or within three months of it.

b). Should be medically fit to pursue the course.

c). Candidate must have passed 10+2 or two years intermediate or equivalent course thereof with Science subjects i.e. physics, chemistry, and biology from a recognized Indian university or pre-university/ intermediate board with marks not less than 50%.

Admission Details

An examination for the grant of a diploma of dental hygienist shall be conducted by a board of three examiners imparting training for the qualification of dental hygienist course approved by the Dental Council of India.
