The library is not just another room in an academic institution. Especially in higher education, the use of the library is directly related to what kind of scholastic minds the institute is going to produce. Many enlightened minds stated “I have never been to a classroom. That’s why I chose the library.” Not that classroom teaching-learning is secondary but in GGDC Kalna –I, we take particular interest in building a habit of using the library among students. A vast majority of our students are first-generation learners. Therefore using the library.

The college provides its students with games and sports facilities. The college sports room has arrangements for indoor games like carrom. There is also a badminton and volleyball court on the college campus. The college also provides an opportunity for regular practice of various throwing and jumping events. The college organizes annual sports in its own playground each year (organizing events like various running, competitions, races, jumping, and throwing). Besides this, the college also participates in various inter-college sports events. The college distributes prizes and certificates to its students during the annual sports.
