Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course and it is offered by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

Practical Subjects: 1. Anthropology, 2. Drawing and Painting, 3. Education, 4. Geography, 5. Home Science, 6. Music (Vocal), 7. Physical Education, and 8. Psychology.

Non-practical Subjects: 1. Ancient History, 2. Economics, 3.English, 4. Hindi, 5. History(Medieval and Modern History), 6. Philosophy, 7. Political Science, 8. Sanskrit, 9. Sociology, and 10. Urdu.

Eligibility Criteria

The student must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
As per the University rules a gap of two years between the year of passing the qualifying examination and the year of admission is allowed. However, there is a provision to deduct 2% marks and 5% of maximum marks in Intermediate in case of a gap of one and two years respectively. (The student has to produce an affidavit from Notary in the given format at the time of counseling).
