College infrastructure is not good because it's too old and there is no labs that are fully equipped only time pass is going in labs. There is no wifi, classes are fully hygienic campus is not maintained. There is no smart boards in classes.
Academics are not well updated only previous syllabus is going on. As my course is Bcom I have 5 subjects that are related To my course and it totally related to my interest. Teachers are not supportive and not treating well to students.
There is no placement. It is only for those who were preparing for other competitive exams for future. If students were skilled they were placed by themselves they don't require any support whether the are not supportive as well.
Waste of money
No campus life
College infrastructure is good but they need maintenance. There is no labs that are fully equipped and there is also no maintenance and it's campus is very old and it's needed some maintenance but department is not concerning on it.
Academics is totally opposite of your course, my course is bsc in PCM so all the subjects syllabus is not well updated to current scenario. All the faculty members are not supportive and well educated there talking way is very ridiculous.
There is no placement it is only provide a degree for various bachelor's and master's degree. So, that you can prefer for higher education and there is no company visit for campus placement. Prefer this college when you want to prefer government exam.
There is totally waste of money
No campus life, there is no clubs or program organised by department of college
No My college doesn't have all necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment My college havegood class room my college doesn't have good quality of laboratory and there are notany libary abd sports centre
I am studying BSc because I was interested in science and I always wanted to be scientist that's why I chose this stream teaching quality is so good in my college yes my curriculum is updated and included all tha recent developments
No there is not any placement at my college because they don't want this at my college if it would be happen then so many students get opportunity to get good jobs and life they will eat what they want to eat
My course cost per year 2500 rupees and yes I feel I am getting my money's worth
There is no any campus Life in my college
My college has all the necessary facilities but its all outdated as you might expect from a government college, classrooms structure is not good. Garden is very nice and cleanliness is maintained. No advancements but it is developing, commerce department is first to get renovated.
If you go to class daily then you can gain some knowledge. Teachers speak to students informally and they are just doing their job for the sake of it. Students need to take their own responsibility when it comes to academics.
I'll be honest here , you can get a degree here but not placements. If anyone gets a placement here then he/she would be considered an outlier, moreover they are not gonna have a good package either, so only 2 stars.
It's been 10 years since I have done my BA from GDC girls college, and the infrastructure was already good at that time. By now, it has developed even more. It is a govt. College after all so you won't see smart board or enjoy wifi tho.
When it comes to academics , you can't have high expectations in here. I did BA and the quality of teaching was average , idk how much it has improved but as far currents students tell, I think teachers are more supportive now.
There might be some placements opportunities if you're pursuing some technical course here but if you are from some non technical course like I was i.e. BA, then placements opportunities are low to none.
Goverment college so doesn't cost too high.
