Govt. Polytechnic has a well-equipped centralized computer center to cater to the needs of students and faculty in the university. It is housed, in a magnificent state-of-the-art building having specialized laboratories to provide a variety of platforms and computing environments for diploma; students. Govt. Polytechnic computer centre presently has around 150 computers connected to LAN on two floors providing internet access and programming facilities to all software-related laboratories of all the departments of the college.

Govt. Polytechnic has a well-maintained library equipped with thousands of books related to different streams of engineering. It has rightly been said that the soul of a technical college lies in its library & laboratories. In this contest, Govt. Polytechnic is fortunate enough to have a quite rich, compact, and well-organized library. Government Polytechnic Gaya library has a unique collection of some foreign and Indian journals in various branches of engineering and has more than 10000 text and reference books. In addition to these, a welfare book bank having nearly 10000 books is functioning. The working hours of the Government Polytechnic Gaya library are the same as those of the college. There is the uninterrupted power supply is maintained using generators of the institute. Several magazines and newspapers are also provided along with the curriculum books in the Government Polytechnic Gaya reading room.
