Government Polytechnic, Kalahandi Facilities
The Government Polytechnic Kalahandi facilities can be availed by both the college staff and the students enrolled in the courses. The college has a 9.96-acre campus which has hostels for both boys and girls. The capacity of hostels can accommodate 100, and 200 boys, and girls respectively. The other facilities that the Government Polytechnic Kalahandi has are medical services, a modern central library, departmental laboratories, and a cafeteria. Around 15 nos. of Journals/ Periodicals are subscribed regularly. There is an EDUSAT Cell, which has been established with the objective to supplement classroom teaching & faculty development. EDUSAT supports curriculum-based teaching, provides effective teacher training, provides greater community participation, increases access, strengthens education efforts, and provides access to new technologies through a well-thought-out segment. Well-furnished Library – cum- Reading Room with internet facility.
