There is a furnished reading room for students with computers connected to the Internet. The institute has a well-furnished Computer Laboratory with 60 Computers connected through LAN.

One Central Placement Cell (CPC) has been functioning since 2014 under the direct supervision of DTE&T, Odisha for conducting recruitments centrally. Besides getting placement in various Central/ State Govt. Departments/ Defence / Paramilitary forces, our Polytechnic students are continuously getting employed with attractive packages, in industries/organizations like TATA Steel, Mando India, Gavrial India, Spicer India, Mattex Infra Ltd, TATA Telex Service Ltd., ACC Cement Ltd., HINDAL Co. The admission process of batch 2020 is not yet over.The admission process for JOSSA counselling will start from 15th October till 13-14 th November and if you are concerned about the state admission process then it also has seven rounds and thus takes one month long period to complete the full process after which the process ends.Thus there is still a lot of time left.Best of luck.
