Government Polytechnic, West Champaran Facilities
The Government Polytechnic West Champaran provides various facilities to the students. GP West Champaran facilities include spacious classrooms, a library with a good collection of books, two boys' hostels and a girl’s hostel with comfortable accommodations. GP West Champaran has a computer lab with many computers. In addition to the above GP West Champaran facilities, the college also provides sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games such as volleyball, table tennis, basketball, badminton and more. Government Polytechnic West Champaran also has a health centre.
- Boys Hostel
The college has two hostel allotted on a first come-first serve basis. Mess is arranged by inmates themselves. All activities are supervised by the warden, who is selected by the senior-most faculty of the institute.
- Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The hostels are well-furnished with all the required amenities.
- Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The computer centre has equipped more than 50 computers with intel Pentium IV machines. A leased line connection for the internet facility is also in process. Also, EDUSET Lab was established in college.
- Library
The college library has fully air-conditioned buildings with enough infrastructure to meet the needs of students. It has a vast collection of many texts and reference books besides other resource materials. The main objective is to deliver world-class service to its users by providing various books, journals, dailies, magazines, and other related materials.
- Sports
The college has sports facilities for outdoor and indoor games like volleyball, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, table tennis, etc. are available.
- Medical/Hospital
The college provides medical facilities and health education programs for the benefit of the students. The college invites a registered medical practitioner from time to time to examine the student’s health.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students.
