GS Tompe Arts Commerce and Science College, Amravati. The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the arts, commerce, and science streams. It has a merit-based admission procedure, through which the right students are chosen for the various courses.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.A., B.Com, B.Sc: These under graduate programmes admit candidates on the merit of the 10+2 qualifying marks. Various specializations are offered under these degrees. Admission through application forms to be submitted with necessary documents is provided on the merit and seat availability basis.
M.A. (Sociology, Marathi, History, Political Science): For postgraduate courses in Arts, the candidates should have completed the graduate degree in that particular or in the related subject. Admission is taken through an application, followed by a merit list.
M.Sc (Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology, Botany): Admission to M.Sc programs is through a bachelor's degree in the concerned science subject. The selection is generally on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying degree, but some departments conduct additional tests or interviews.
M.Com: B.Com graduates are eligible for the M.Com program. Admission is merit-based, based on the marks secured in the undergraduate degree.
B.Ed: There are 50 seats available under the B.Ed course. Admission is strictly on merit, by marks secured in the qualifying examination and entrance examination, as per the state government policy.
D.El.Ed: Admission in the Diploma in Elementary Education course is also strictly merit-based, keeping in view the marks in the qualifying examination or any other process of selection as per the norms of the state government.
Ph.D Programs The college offers various doctoral programs that include Geology, Chemistry, Botany, Physics, Marathi, English, Geography, Economics, and Political Science. Admission to such programs is mainly done through the separate application with entrance tests, as per guidelines of the concerned university.
