Hey

Delhi University has released its first cut off for the year 2020. Since you're from SC category and your score is 88%, you can get a chance to secure seats in closing cut offs.

Generally, the cut offs in North campus is really high and even after 2 or 3 cut offs, the admission is closed for specific categories. This is the estimation that has been made as per previous cut off trends. But if you are a female candidate, then you'll surely get a seat at Daulat Ram College in science courses which is in North campus only.

However, you can predict colleges here -

Hello there

Interest in the subject matters. I've seen many students choosing college over course just because it's their dream to study in that college. No, you should never compromise with the career you want to pursue.

According to your question, the courses are different and so as the colleges too. Go with the choice of course that you aspire to study. Both are North campus colleges. Faculty, campus life, infrastructure and placements of both colleges are exceptionally good.

So, as per your choice of course I suggest you to choose the college.

Thanks

Hello Dhruvag,

According to last year's data, the cutoff score for BSc in Computer Science course in Hansraj College in DU for general category was 96%. Since you have not mentioned the category, I assume it to be general and you are definitely eligible for applying in DU for BSc in CS course. The cutoff might change this year because it isn't same every year but you have higher chances of getting a seat.

Good luck and stay safe!

Hello,

This year applicants in DU has been increased by about 1lakh,so chances of your getting college are good as per previous year figures, but we never know this increase in applicants may bring some change in cutoff.

College Infrastructure

It's been awesome experience till now..we have learnt many newer things never possible in a normal private College...From debating to Academic discussion to what not..! It's been terrific ride in Hansraj.

I think college is worth it.

College Infrastructure

Overall infrastructure of college is good but the playground area is very short and some classes are not well mentioned as compared to other one but the work is always going on in college due to this some time student's have to face problems .

The campus life is good.

College Infrastructure

A very weak infrastructure and reckless as well. The chairs in the college are very uncomfortable. The canteen is very small and need to wait too long to get the seat. There is too much of garbage lying around.
