Great infrastructure but we have less placement for scienece courses . Bcom courses have a huge amount of placements.Best college life. There is a lp(lovers point) it's our spot for sharing our beautiful memories and a canteen where we have good infrastructure and good workers ,they are very good with us. We enjoyed a lot there.
High education facilty. Life canot be so happy this much. We have good quality life and friends there. The campus don't have hostel for girls . But boys have good hostel facility. There are pg facilities for girls but rate may cost high upto 13k
High placements for Bcom students compare to other science streams. Science streams doesn't have placements. The hansraj College has a good quality placement cell where every can perform and submit their form.
Course may cost inside 30k
Enjoyment
Best ever college I have went
Hansraj is one of the prestigious colleges in Delhi University. My experience in hansarj was really good. College has a very good infrastructure with fully air conditioned classrooms, canteen, Girls common room, LP, Gym, Amphitheater, Yoga room and a ground with medium size. Lab facilities are there for science students. College library is huge and is running with all the modern technologies like book drop centre and it's fully air conditioned . College is always maintained clean .
I joined hansraj because the economics department there is well known. Faculties are highly qualified and they have deep knowledge in subject. Some teachers are very generous and friendly. The quality of teaching is really good except when some temporary faculties. The curriculum is updated frequently and includes all the recent developments in the field. The syllabus is same for all DU colleges. If you're one who follow the syllabus very well you can prepare really well for Masters entrances.
College has an efficient placement cell. Many eminent companies like Byjus,Tresvista, United Airlines, Deloitte, Decathalon... visit college for recruitment. Most of the students go for higher education after graduation. But almost 70% who sit for placement get selected. Average CTC is about 7 lakhs. Bcom hons, BA HONS Economics and Bsc Hons computer science has highest placements.
College fee for me was about 19 k per annum. That's the only fee we pay in college. It's really affordable and the quality provided by the college worth it. You will get country's best education, can study in a good environment and get good placement opportunities too in such an amount. And the graduate certificate from Delhi University is really valuable.
College has so numerous extra curricular clubs and activities. Music society, Dram soc, Western dance society, fine arts society, NSS, NCC, Quizzing society etc.. are few of them. Annual fest called confluence is conducted in college. We have different functions throughout the year. Archery is the main sports supported in college . There's volleyball court too. Football and cricket tournaments are also conducted in college. College is in north campus area where almost all facilities are availabl
Hansraj changed my perspectives. Since it's a central university students from all parts of India are studying there. I could meet many people. Could know about diverse cultures and characteristics and could improve my language skills. Studying in a college with many brilliant students helped me to know my level and thereby improving myself. I'm always grateful for getting a chance to study in Hansraj .
My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The present batch has a number of courses and that demands a large number of classrooms. And our college can easily manage that. My course is bcom Honours and we have 700+ students in this course itself and our college has enough facilities.
I'm studying bcom Honours first year in this college and this course in a college like hansraj is a top priority in Delhi University. The quality of teaching is great and the teachers have a lot of experience in teaching.
Hansraj College, Delhi University has been famous for its placements in the dehli University circuit and we have a placement cell to deal with all the placements. I was told by my seniors that last year the highest package was around 20 lakhs.
My course costs 20900 Rupees approximately. However Hansraj College has one the costliest fees in delhi university but it's still better than private colleges and hansraj is worth it. So I am completely satisfied with it.
Campus Life at Hansraj College is great. One can get a lot of exposure here. Ranging from a bunch of societies to the beautiful campus, everything at Hansraj is awesome. The best thing at Hansraj is its seniors.
All in all, Hansraj is worth it.
Hansraj College has all the basic facilities and amenities, the Library is well loaded with books from all major writers and subjects, Classrooms are tidy and are Air Conditioned. Wi-Fi has recently been set up and has adequate speed. Though not up to the mark facilities, you can adjust to them.
Our college has the best faculty members, and every faculty member is available in this college. They have the best and suitable mindset for students. They all were very helpful and had a great experience. They are very knowledgeable and solve any query very quickly. They all are well-qualified, i.e., they have a PhD, and they have a minimum of 10 years of experience. Even some teachers have a maximum of 40 years of experience.
Our college does not provide 100% placements, and only talented students get placement here. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost all the students focus on doing masters after this course.
It is really one of the finest colleges in DU with a manageable fee of around Rs. 20,000. Our college provides good and one of the best infrastructures. The library is really nice, huge and sprawled over many floors for different departments. It also has an easy issue and return of books facility. The canteen is one of the finest and famous in the entire North Campus with a great variety of food items. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and air-conditioners are in good working condition.
Hansraj is one of the finest colleges in India. It has top-class faculty members who are very helpful and knowledgeable. They put interest in teaching the students and work hard to prepare for a lesson. They are easy to approachable and available to clear doubts.
Our college provides various opportunities for internships and placements. Doing internship during summer break is advised as it would enhance your overall work experience and will give you a chance to try your hand in the real corporate world. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
Most of the facilities are available in my college. Toilets were clean, Wi-Fi is available, library is good. When I took admission in Hansraj renovation of college was going on, new technology and infrastructure was added in the present building. All facilities were available and different departments were there for problems.
The teachers are highly qualified, helpful and have great knowledge in their respective fields. The teaching quality depends on the teacher, but the majority of teachers are good in terms of teaching. Since University decides the curriculum, the college I don't think plays a vital role. The curriculum makes the students industry ready.
Placements in our college are generally available only for B.Com after graduation as one can expect. The knowledge imparted in the graduation eases out the road to clear competitive examination and get into M.Sc course, which would aid in providing you with job overtime.
Yes, the college has good infrastructure as compared to many of the other colleges of Delhi University. I'm satisfied with the facilities provided by it and the work that goes on there. The sports facility and college library are well-maintained and good places if you want to play or study respectively.
I'm studying mainly Accounts and Law, which I feel are taught well in this institute. I also have Philosophy as my General Elective subject, which I am extremely satisfied with. The way these subjects are taught and explained are very good.
Hansraj is one of the top colleges of Delhi University and is very good in terms of placements and opportunities provided by it. I personally haven't had the experience yet since I'm only a first year student, but I've heard and read a lot about it.
The fees of Hansraj is reasonable, costing me around ₹21,000 for the whole course, which pans over 3 years. It is less than many colleges while having better facilities than them, especially many IP colleges which charge exorbitant amount of fees.
There are all kinds of people here, from different parts of the country, mostly positive and approachable. You can make friends and find your kind of people easily, and even hangout with them at Hudson Lane and many other places nearby. The location is extremely convenient, and even the college campus is a good place to hangout.
Yes the college has very nice infrastructure. It has wifi and nice library with plenty of books over there and greenery and hostel facility is also there. It provides variety of courses and best facilities
Hansraj is one of the best colleges of India and I am currently studying bcom hons from hansraj college the quality of teaching is really amazing the teachers are very nice and have really nice teaching skills. There are more than 30 societies to develop the students personality and development skills
As Hansraj is one of the best college of India and also very tough to get admission in college so it definitely offers a nice package to students on average basis of 7-8 lpa the companies are ICICI bank the big four ey kpmg Dilotte hdfc bank
The cost of bcom hons course is 20k annually and this is very economical and has 100% value for money we get the best in economical fees
The campus life is amazing the crowd is really nice and are from all corners of India and also from out of India. The seniors are co operative and helpful and helps to learn a lot and also enjoy a lot overall it’s worth spending 3 years in the college
Hansraj is a dream college no doubt and it offers the best and it develops the students personality and skills and has the best facilities and is also one of the best colleges of India
The college has amazing infrastructure. The classrooms are quite spacious, with big and well maintained playground and lawns. The campus is so beautiful, our college has an arrangement for physically challenged students as well. Library offers a wide range of books and the canteen is quite big.
I am currently pursuing B.Com (Hons.) The teachers of commerce department are highly qualified and experienced. They provide amazing study material and are really helpful and supportive. The curriculum is updated and is interesting to study.
All the top-notch companies come for placements in our college. Mostly students get placed with a decent package. The college provides great opportunity and help us in all the ways possible to complete the recruitment procedure.
I’m in western dance society (oorja) of my college. We don’t have a space to practice. It’s like we are the ones who are representing the college and we don’t get that encouragement. And talking about other facilities and cleanliness there is nothing to comment as we are on online platform.
I would say that quality of teaching is quite good. My friends from other colleges tell me that they face many problems as the faculty is not taking much responsibility. Ours is still better if we compare. They know that course completion is important.
Unaware about this as it’s my first year and I have some other plans so didn’t try to get knowledge over placements and other stuff. But heard from seniors that it’s quite good as compared to other colleges of Delhi University.
The course fee is 24K per year. Can’t comment it’s worth or not as we are studying online.
College campus is beautiful. Lived near the campus for 1 week. Explored new things. It was a very good experience. The ground for sports activities needs to be improved. It’s not in that good condition as other colleges have. Not interacted with teachers and support staff so don’t know much. The college is on road so it’s safe and there will be no problems for transportation.
Just a message for the authorities and the college staff that their narrow minds trouble us a lot. If you are like this then please be, but don’t try to impose it on students.
Hy,
Hansraj College, part of Delhi University, does not offer a BBA course . Instead, it is known for courses such as B.Com (Hons), BA, and B.Sc. If you're interested in B.Com (Hons) , mathematics is typically required as a subject in your 12th grade . For instance, to pursue B.Com (Hons) at Hansraj College, you need at least 50% marks in mathematics or business mathematics along with other core subjects like commerce or economics.
However, for general courses like B.A. (Hons) or certain other non-science courses, maths may not be compulsory. Therefore, it depends on the specific program you're applying for.
If you want to pursue a course related to business without maths, you may need to consider other colleges or courses within Delhi University that might not have such stringent math requirements.
