Degree wise Admission Process
BA (Bachelor of Arts): Hari Prasad Sah College provides various BA courses like honors in Economics, English, Hindi, Maithili, Urdu, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, and History. Admission is on the candidate's merit in the entrance exam (10+2 or equivalent). The candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria by the college as prescribed for every individual course.
B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): B.Sc course with honors is also provided in Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics by the college. Admission into science courses also continues to be merit-based as per marks obtained in science-related subjects in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. B.Sc courses aspirants must be science streams candidates during higher secondary education.
For BA and B.Sc programs, there are 17 college courses in different subjects. The process of admission in each course might have different subject criteria and cut-off marks, depending on the seat availability and performance of the aspirants in total.
The teaching staff here is a mixed experience. While a few teachers are dedicated and try to cover the syllabus properly, in general, the staff is not very attentive or supportive. Many times, classes get cancelled or delayed, and the approach is quite old-fashioned and less interactive.
