HIMT College of Pharmacy being one of the reputed colleges which offer programs in pharmacy. All these programs are offered after PCI-approved admission procedures for selecting candidates suitable for fulfi lling the demands of pharmacy science for undergraduates and postgraduates.
With regard to the admission calendar of HIMT College of Pharmacy, it goes as per the academic calendar of the institution, normally commencing in August-September. Merit is the basis for admissions to undergraduate programs like B.Pharma and D.Pharma. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: Admission to B.Pharma program at HIMT College of Pharmacy is provided on a merit basis. The college offers an approved 100 seats for this four-year undergraduate program. Although it is not mentioned, an eligible candidate may be any one who had gone through 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
D.Pharma: D.Pharma is also considered for admission on a merit basis. The college has an intake of 60 students for this diploma program.
M.Pharma (Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics): M.Pharma programs provided are based on GPAT scores. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance exam accepted for pharmacy admissions in different institutes across India. Typically, applicants possessing a B.Pharma degree are the ones eligible for admission to these two-year postgraduate programs. Although the admission capacity for these programs is not mentioned, the college avails both specializations, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics.
