Infrastructure of Hindu college is good and well maintained as compared to the other colleges. It has well equipped labs and a library full books. Hostels are very expensive, also seats are limited in hostel.
I am studying BA prog.(History+pol sci). Most of the teachers are helpful and try to clear all your doubts. But there are always some teachers who dont care much, so is the case of our college. But overall faculty is outstanding.
As far as I know, Hindu College doesn't provide any placement for arts courses. You can get other opportunities like internships in the various societies of this college itself. Other things depend on you.But placements are good in courses like Eco hons,Bcom, bcom hons.
The annual fee for BA prog is around 18000rs.The fee is nothing compared to the things i have learnt and the outstanding experience i have gained. The exposure u get from the college societies is something which counts.
Hindu College is situated in North Campus of Delhi University and no words can describe the vibe one gets in North campus. The campus is lush with greenery, beautiful buildings, parks, and much more. Apart from the academic activities, the students engage in various co-curricular activities like public speaking, singing, sports, debates, poems, arts, etc., with many cultural clubs and technical clubs to boost not just the academic life but also the social life.
The college has separate hostels for both girls and boys with all fully functional amenities. In addition, girls hostel is a newly built building with all A-1 facilities and over the top cleanliness and hygiene is something you would notice immediately. Double-sharing hostel rooms, common as well as separate washrooms, common room, dining hall, delicious meals 4 times a day and every other thing you can think of for a great hostel. Wi-fi is a little off the track in the last session.
Teachers at Hindu College are very well qualified, equipped and experienced. Not just in Science but in all different streams, teachers are very knowledgeable, interactive and helpful. Each department here has elected students body, their own society with both teachers and students of the same involved in conducting events and fests. Students from Science mostly go for higher studies, others appear for competitive exams and only a few sit for placements.
ABHYAS- the internship cell of Hindu college works round the calendar and brings the best of internship opportunities to the college campus. However, B.Com (Hons) B.Sc. Statistics, B.Sc. Mathematics and B.A. (Economics) are the most desired courses by the companies. But, students from departments other than these have bagged great internship opportunities based on their personality, skills, knowledge and efforts. DISHA- placement cell of Hindu college is highly active and has a great record.
Yeah it is worth every penny. Very grateful to have in such a great college.
It is highly advised to be active with the internship cell and placement cell of the college to bring the best out of the resources available to you in Hindu College. Both the cells, run and managed by students only, are highly active and provide great assistance to students who really want to learn, explore and improve in these college years. Hindu college has a huge number of societies functional in streams like sports, dramatics, fashion, literary, debating, dance, music.

I pursued my post graduation from there. The quality of teaching is pretty good because of the experienced faculty available there for guidance students. Curriculum is updated regularly with the recent advancements in the respective fields.

Yes, our college had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, like WiFi, well-maintained projectors in labs and classrooms, parking, and ATM nearby. Living spaces are clean, and the food supplied in the canteen is hygienic.
As for academics, I can assure you that the quality of teaching is decent. Courses are updated according to the recent advancements in the fields and with the approval of the concerned Department of University.
The placements here are good. Approx 70-80% are placed. The placement cell process is easy and comfortable for students. The highest package offered is 15L and the average package offered is in the range of 6-8 Lpa.
My fees for masters was quite affordable actually, so it was definitely value for money.
As the name suggests, Hindu College, life in both north and south campuses is a wonderful experience.
College infrastructure is nice and new constructions were going on when I was there. Classrooms, labs and sports room has decent facilities for all the students. Living spaces are decently hygienic but there is room for improvement.
I pursued my graduation from there. As the name says Hindu College, the quality of teaching is obviously good. I would suggest people to choose Hindu college for the enjoyable experience in academics and campus life. When I was there the curriculum that was being followed was old enough to be changed.
The Placements were average as per my course. I do not know the exact number of students who were placed but around 50-60% of the total batch was placed with average package in range of 4-7 LPA. Highest package offered was 10-12 LPA.
Being in North campus had its own perks in terms of fees, as it was inexpensive as per my course.
North Campus life was worth every penny, because of the experience.

The faculty of Hindu is of top-class and the teachers are very intelligent and answer our questions very easily. They understood each student and provided appropriate teaching to them. That enabled us to excel in all the exams and problems we faced.
The companies came to hire us were of a various different area of the corporate world with major companies being American Express, Gartner, etc. So the placement cell did good job. The average package was in the range of 5 -6 lakhs.

Yes, Hindu College has all the necessary infrastructure (classrooms, libraries, laboratories), facilities (WiFi, Washroom) and equipment (for students interested in sports activities. All the things are well maintained by the management. I haven't been in hostel facility yet, so can't say anything regarding to that but the food is pretty hygienic in canteen.
I am pursuing my Masters because it's one of the best colleges in University of Delhi. The quality of teaching is good and it has improved because of the provision of projectors in classrooms and labs. Yes, the faculty does a decent job in keeping the curriculum updated in the recent advancements in the respective fields.
The quality of placements were good before pandemic. Since the pandemic hit the quality of placements has affected. Hindu College has the placement percentage of 80-90% as the rest students want to continue their studies, otherwise it would have been 100%. The average CTC offered is around 5-7 LPA. Which is quite decent. The placement cell was helpful to students and very supportive.
My course cost around 17-19k per year and it was definitely worth it because of the life I experienced there.
College life was one the best things anyone can experience in North Campus colleges. Students can engage in society activities and NCC. The location and ambience is profuse.
My overall experience at Hindu College was a roller coaster of emotions, academic and overall life. It was worth going here.
Honestly , I am in no position to review my college since the only college life I am having is the online classes. But here’s one thing that I think every hinduite would agree upon . The aura of this college (even if it being online) is something completely different . The kind of learnings you get , the societies and everything, is just beyond excellence. The faculty is commendable.
Online classes are mostly boring , but professors are supportive and do try their best to make concepts easy to comprehend . The curriculum is updated . You need to be regular with your studies since Economics honours is a heavy course.
The college offers great placement opportunities, one of the best in University of Delhi. The college provides great opportunities for people looking for jobs after their graduation with a handsome salary.
My course costed me 17000 INR (approx) in my first year.
Never had one. But as I have heard, the campus life at Hindu is amazing and something worth having :(
The best .
Hello there,
Admissions in Hindu Colleges is through CUET, and if you check your CSAS PAHSE 1 Portal you will find the courses your are eligible for in accordance to subjects you've had in 10+2 as well as subjects you've chose in CUET.
However, if a student doesn't have Maths or Economics in his\her class 12th, then the student is not eligible for any course of these two subjects. If you have studied Economics and Mathematics as your additional subject, you are then eligible.
