72 MonthsPh.D. program in Kayachikitsa shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
Eligibility Criteria
The Ph.D. Scholars willing to register for the Ph.D. course shall fulfill the eligibility conditions as mentioned below:-
a). The Candidate shall have Post Graduate Qualification in the concerned subject of Health Sciences or in the prescribed allied subject.
b). The Ph.D. Scholar (s) having Post Graduate Diploma in schedule II of the respective Central Councils and/or D.N.B. qualification shall also be considered eligible only, if such candidate has published a minimum of two Research Papers in the National / International Journal(s).
c). In case the Ph.D. Scholar possesses Post Graduate degree from a foreign University, he shall have to submit an equivalence of an Indian Post Graduate degree from the competent authority.
Admission Details
The admission of the candidates for Ph.D. Degree shall be on the basis of Merit of entrance test conducted by the University (Ph.D. Entrance Test – PET) and at College level Counselling.
