IBS Hyderabad overall is a 'very good' management college as per Careers360 rating and ranking. It is ranked as AAAA. In terms of placements, on an average one can expect a package around 6-7 lacs per year, highest package last year was 47 lakh and it was an international Placement. Extra curriculum and clubs in the college are actually highlighting factors there. The case based approach study is really interesting and practical and it really helps you to understand the real life scenarios of business. Some of the companies which come for hiring are:
Wipro
Orcale
Abbott
Bank Of America and check the complete report here .
On the other hand, Great lakes, Chennai, is rated the same that is overall it is a 'very good' management college as per Careers360 rating and ranking. It is ranked as AAAA. Some of the companies which come for hiring are:

Based on your score you have decent chance to get admission in IBS Hyderabad. You don't need to give it again. To check your other best chances you can go through with given below link.
Good Luck!
Hello Garima,
Welingkar Mumbai and ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad are both tier 2 B Schools and are a good choice if you do not crack the top 20 B-Schools in India.
When you choose a B School/University, I strongly recommend opting for its primary campus as it generally offers better placements. learning experience, better infrastructure and is often ranked better.
Both IBS Hyderabad and Welingkar Mumbai are the primary campuses of the respective B Schools.
At Welingkar, I think its marketing and finance courses are not so good, whereas IBS is known for Finance, so if you are planning to go for finance then IBS should be your choice.
You have all the info here and you need to decide and make a choice on your own.
Good luck!
Dear aspirant....!!
If you are a student of IBS Hyderabad then you will get a company to work in particular company after a procedure as a part of internship. You will be paid for a particular internship by the company besides you won't be charged any kind of fees by the institute.
Hope your query is solved!
All the best!
Why only these three colleges? None of them is that good, do you think you don't deserve better? Apply to Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad. Compared to IBS' 1200 students, they have only 240 students, so great grooming provided to students.
They have globally acclaimed faculty members, most of them from IIMs. the placement is 100% with many students getting 2-3 offers. The average package is much higher than all the colleges you mentioned, at INR 8 lacs per annum. So Woxsen is obviously a league apart from all these colleges.
If you think of PGDM, think Woxsen.
Well IBS overall is not a bad college but HR department isn't doing that well. My friend recently graduated from the finance department there and his comments are that there were just 45 students who opted for the HR course and 20 students out of this got placed.
You get to choose specialization in 2nd year so even if you join MBA there you have 1 full year to wait and think which specialization you would want to take.
